Welcome to Geensys Main Web

Geensys TWiki is a web-based collaboration platform. It is used to share and work on all kinds of project-relevant information ranging from ideas and objectives, project planning, pieces of specification, architecture and design to procedures, conventions and tips and tricks.

Geensys TWiki is composed of a number of different top-level areas called webs. There are three default webs which can be viewed by everybody without authentication:

  • TWiki: The place to learn about TWiki features and perform TWiki system maintenance.
  • Main: This web which serves as entry point to Geensys TWiki.
  • Sandbox: A web which can used for testing. Everybody is welcome to add or delete some stuff.

The actual content and collaboration on Geensys TWiki is being done in dedicated project webs. As they contain sensible information, access to project webs is restricted to the persons participating in these projects. Each project web is managed by an administrator in charge. The following table lists the project webs which are currently available along with their administrators:

Getting Access to Geensys Project Webs

In order to get access to one of the project webs on Geensys TWiki you have to proceed as follows:

  1. Register to become a TWiki user.

warning Make sure that your LoginName is a valid WikiName, i.e. both first name and last name should start with an uppercase letter, continue in lowercase and have to be connected without space or any special character.

  2. Send an e-mail to the administrator(s) of the project web(s) (see above) telling that you would like tp become a member. They will add your WikiName to the corresponding TWikiGroups. When logging in the next time, you will be able to access the project web(s) either via the links as in this page (see above) or by using the links in the Webs section of the WebLeftBar.

info Alternatively, you can send your request to just anyone who is already member of the project web(s) your are interested in. The TWikiGroups policy has been adjusted to that all members of a group can add new users to the same group.
